This post is labeled as English, so will be written in English :p

Okay, exam period will be coming soon.  For me, it’s 112 more hours from now.  I am going to face my first exam on June 17th, hope i can succeed.
My tips on facing exams :

1.  SLEEPING ACTIVITY
+  DO : before the exam
?  Why:  Because it will help your brain think clearer and faster.  It needs rest as well.  I know a lot of people think that last minute is the best way (so do i :p), but trust me it isn’t
-  DON’T : DURING the exam
?  Why:  Obvious.  Don’t care how much you learned, you MUST stay awake in order to do the exam.  A Postgraduate Doctoral Theses in mind is NOTHING compared to a scribble drawn by a 5-years-old kid.

2.  DIETARY ACTIVITY
+  DO : eat some carbohydrates and ” quick-energy” food, especially BREAKFAST
?  Why:  Because breakfast is the most important.  According to this, brain had 20% of energy consumption all across the body.  And thinking takes nutrition.  A bowl of cereal or porridge and fruit juice is enough to make you “fired up”
-  DON’T : eat some “heavy” food or rotten food
?  Why : Isn’t  it very obvious?  Eating heavy food will put a burden in your digestive system.  How can you digest a ton (1000 kgs) of beef?  Don’t.  Simply don’t.  And rotten food?  Ask yourself.

3.  READING
+  DO : stop “scanning” or trying to read every single ink dot in the book for about two hours before the exam.
?   Why :  Give your eyes and brain a good rest.  15 minutes- 30 minutes before the exam begin, try to skim the book, and recall as much as you can without hurting your precious brain
-  DON’T : stop scanning weeks before the exam, or didn’t start at all.  Also in the middle of a closed-book exam.
?  Why : What would you learn for not reading?  Trust me that reading takes effort, but pays back in time :p.  And about the second one, simple, you will be dragged out of the class IMMEDIATELY.

4.  RECREATION
+  DO : take a quick break in the middle of your study session, and listen to some music or watch TV for 30-60 minutes for every 2-4 hours.
?  Why : Told you, brain needs rest.  don’t push yourself too hard, we won’t be able to use a worn out batteries, will we?
+  DON’T : take a long break in the middle of your study session
?  Why : well, everything will be bad if done for too much.  8 Hours of playing Wii or going to the pub all night long is too much for a break.  Taking a sudden holiday to Alaska for 3 months will save you from the exam, but not the FAIL mark on your scorecard.  :)

5.  SPORT
+  DO : jog or do some aerobic movements for a couple of minutes everyday
?  Why : it increases the blood flow in your body, and so increasing your body immunity as well.  We want to be fit for the exam, right?
-  DON’T : do nothing at home, or do extreme sports
?  Why : doing nothing will only make you lazy *like me*, and doing extreme sports could be dangerous.  Well, you could be an expert, but don’t you think climbing the Statue of Liberty is too much to ask for?  And, don’t try with Eiffel Tower as well.  Please.

Okay guys, that’s what i have for exam tips.  I’ve practiced it for some years already, and they never fail me.  I hope that works for you too!  Please post a comment if you had done this exercise, show us how it goes!  Thx!

The wind blows to the west, so smell you next post!  :D

@yoga : at least, a lil bit more “funny” than “don’t use your Nintendo to skydive, right”? :D
