Have you ever heard about this joke :
“rules no 1 : the boss is always right. rules no 2 : if the boss is wrong, look at rules no 1″
Yeah i know that’s old fashioned. I just got a real experience about thing similar to these. And it is a bad experience, indeed. That’s why, i decided to make a new set of regulations in the workplace. And of course, since i am the creator, don’t expect a good and serious thing.

Rule no 1 : Boss’ words are LAW
That means, you don’t need to know the reason behind the law. If he said “you blink your eye, you got fired”, then so be it. You don’t need to know the reason, or more precisely, YOU CAN’T KNOW THE REASON. haha. Who knows maybe the reason is very sentimental (like he lost his dog because he blinked for a duration of 5 minutes) or very “logical” (like he think if you blink once in 5 seconds, that means you lost one fifth of your worktime for blinking). Who knows? Just God and the boss himself.
Rule no 2 : Boss’ deeds are ALWAYS GOOD
That means, if he did something you did before (and he said it is wrong), it becomes right. BUT, remember one thing, it becomes wrong again as soon as the boss stopped doing it. It is called a “temporary rightness”. Only the boss can put it and take it away. Simple.
Rule no 3 : Boss can suffer from amnesia WITHOUT PROPER WARNING
So, if he said “do that”, that doesn’t means you had avoided being scolded by doing it, because he can say several seconds later “who tells you to do that?” without feeling even a flash of guilt. Other case, he can said “i never recall seeing you doing good” when he is angry, but he forgot that it is our first error for the first 3 hours.
Rule no 4 : A boss is a boss ALL THE TIME
Even though you are in the “joking circumstance”, he is still the boss, so he can repeat rules 1-3 all the times he feels like he want to. You can never lay back and joke freely with him, with NO exception.
Rule no 5 : Boss can add any rules at ANY TIME, and everyone must abide to this rule
Last rule : there is NO LAST RULE! see rule no 5.

Okay, i know that sounds stupid, but that’s what i experienced thought. I don’t say all the bosses out there have rules like this, but these rules are applied by my boss most of the bosses, i guess…. .

that is a paradox.
if it’s a joke, he is not my boss. so his word is not law. but if i don’t go home, that means i agree he is my boss, and it is a joke. repeat this to infinity.
